Jesús Valdez has over 38 years of experience in the chemical industry and manufacturing sites. For the last 7+ years, he has been responsible for the implementation and sustainability of the DuPont Production System (DPS) at DuPont’s manufacturing sites across many business segments. DPS is a focused continuous improvement process that incorporates Lean Six Sigma, Industry Best Practices, and Change Management using systems thinking approach.
He has also held various other roles throughout his DuPont career with a focus on operations and technology management, mechanical engineering, maintenance reliability, process safety management, capital improvement project management, and developing others.
Jesús has served as an Adjunct Instructor for University of Houston at Victoria teaching an undergraduate business statistics course for business majors.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and Master of Business Administration from University of Houston at Victoria. Jesús Valdez is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
